Ms. Sylvia – Director & Lead Educator
With over 25 years of combined experience in business, education, and early childhood care, I bring a unique and well-rounded perspective to leading Happy Littles Academy. As both the Director and Lead Educator, I’m actively involved in daily operations, designing the curriculum, and guiding our teachers in implementing engaging activities that support every child’s growth and development. I work closely with my team to set monthly goals and collaborate on approaches to best support each child’s unique needs. My heart is in creating a safe, loving, and enriching environment where children can thrive, and families feel supported. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active with workouts, walks, and hikes, and I love spending time with my family and friends.
Ms. Jess – Lead Teacher
With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Jess brings a calm, confident presence and a deep understanding of how young children learn best. Her teaching credential adds depth and structure to her approach at Happy Littles Academy, where she’s known for her clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and ability to keep children engaged in meaningful ways. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and is excited to welcome their first baby this November.
Ms. Megan – Teacher
Ms. Megan brings a nurturing and playful presence to the classroom. She has a natural ability to connect with young children and delivers lessons in a lively, engaging way. Currently a senior at San Diego State University majoring in English and studying early childhood education, she is committed to growing her skills and deepening her understanding of child development. Her dedication, teamwork, and warm energy make her a valued member of the HLA team. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Izabella – Student Assistant
Izabella is my daughter she supports the Happy Littles Academy team throughout the year. As an incoming high school junior, she is learning how to engage with young children and continues to grow in her confidence and communication. She assists with playtime, classroom preparation, and activities under the guidance of our teaching staff. Her gentle presence and willingness to learn make her a valued part of the HLA family. Outside of HLA, she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her friends.
